Packed with mostly Obama supporters at the Election Night Party held by the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, we braved hippie drum circles and intense body odors, ultimately rewarded with Obama’s moving victory speech.
A sigh of relief as we prepare for the hard work ahead. Yes we can!

I stopped by the mall to use the restroom. I was hit by the wave of cologne smell outside the bathroom and then a wave of putrid, gag-inducing God-what-the-hell-is-that smell once inside. I think the downstairs mall bathroom may be the worst smelling bathroom in all of San Francisco.

I fear disappointment over the next 4 years. But it is better than irritation.
What I love most about Obama is his acknowledgment of hard work and possible failures. It’s a given in an industry I feel most Americans don’t seem to understand – that political change won’t occur overnight, rather it requires patience and perseverance.
