The nearly supermoon over Rome’s Centro Storico

Tomorrow night, the world will catch a glimpse of a supermoon, the night in the year when the moon comes closest to Earth and thus appears larger to us. I walked through the Centro Storico (“Historic Center”) district of Rome tonight and captured some of the world’s most famous landmarks against the (almost) supermoon.

Full moon and the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi in Piazza Navona

Full moon and the Pantheon in Rome

Full moon and narrow street in the Centro Storico in Rome

Full moon and the statue of Giordano Bruno in the Campo de' Fiori
