I recently started a new Medium publication to have a creative writing outlet while I work on other projects. Letters from a Traveling Friend shares semi-fictional letters with topics blending travel, philosophy, mindfulness and wisdom. It’s completely free to read, open to readers who aren’t Medium members.

It combines a number of my interests: travel tips and advice, travel stories, existential thoughts, travel and street photography, and the general idea of mindfulness in an increasingly complex reality. While the letter writer isn’t “real,” the content is drawn from personal experiences. Think of it as receiving a thoughtful letter each week from around the world, paired with a lovely photo.
