Grand Opening of Muka in San Francisco - Illuminated Bar at Night

Last Friday marked the opening of Muka, a French restaurant and wine bar formerly located under the Alliance Française de San Francisco, at its new location at 370 Grove St. in Hayes Valley.

Situated a block from the beginning of the main drag of Hayes Street (near the corner of Absinthe, Dobb’s Ferry, Chez Maman) and just down the street from notable San Francisco attractions (SF Symphony, SF Opera), the new location is certainly more convenient for most. And while it’s farther away from where I live, the new spot is great because it offers more space and much more natural sunlight than a lounge that’s located underground.
